Flower of My Secret is a repository for dreams, memories, rumours, worries, wishes... and, of course, secrets. Drawers, various sizes at various heights, contain virtual flowerbeds that teem with the whispered thoughts that visitors have left behind. The flowerbeds need secrets in order to grow; but to hear the captured secrets, visitors will need to leave secrets of their own. Each secret becomes a flower, unique to the visitor. Integrated into the RFID backbone of new museum The Public, UK, in this project visitors' "data bodies" become social: people enter into symbiosis with the flowerbeds, with other visitors and with the flowerbeds growing outside...
