September 17, 2004 -- The NMM flight went off without a hitch! (apart from a problem during setup with the balloons spontaneously switching themselves on from a stray infrared source). We had beautiful clear skies, the winds died down and we lifted up to a maximum of about 100m. Photos now available in the images section.

August 20, 2004 -- Final preparations are now underway for September 15 flight at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich Park, London.

May 23, 2004 -- We hope to reschedule Sky Ear's Greenwich/London flight for late August or early September.

May 4, 2004 -- Sky Ear @ the National Maritime Museum had to be postponed due to bad weather. During setup we saw sunshine, hail, lightning, followed by sunshine and torrential rain once more... We apologise profusely for people who wasted time coming to the Museum only to discover that the flight wouldn't take place. We also understand that there wasn't adequate notification at the site of the postponement leaving many confused about where the event was to be held. Please accept our apologies for this too and we hope you will still be interested in coming when we reschedule later this year. Next time, we will have an up-to-the-minute phone number that you can ring up in order to find out about the status. [We have had to delay the London flight now for several months because sunset is now so late that we wouldn't be allowed to stay in the park to hold the event].
